This is an incredible jumpsuit from the late sixties, early seventies, that is well made and very chic with an extravagant, over the top feel. It has no designer label but I love it none the less and this is the exact type of little "unknown" piece that you only find in vintage. It is made from a gold lame knit that is very light and fluid. That color carries through from shoulder to the hem and the overall effect is a soft muted gold. This golden hue is only broken up by the row of tightly spaced, glossy black facet buttons that run down the front. The top has long cuffed sleeves that give it a nice balance to the wide legs. The top is cut loose and easy and the the high simple collar works whether you button it all the way up or leave it open. Each leg is cut extra wide and full so initially you think it is a maxi dress but it has the ease and comfort of a pant. I love how the fabric of each leg is finished in a series of sharp knife pleats that allow then to fall sleekly when you stand still and then explode into fullness when you move. A matching fabric sash belt cinches in the waist. Excellent condition
Unlined and closes with the buttons down the front. Each cuff buttons to close. There is an extra loop for the belt set at the front along the waist so it stays in place once you tie it. One small smudge on one arm near the cuff.
